Snow Removal Information:

• For many years, Woodbrook has opted for a flat rate contract. This rate is fixed for the months of December, January, February, and March – A per event cost is in effect for any other months.
• Our contract also includes two components regarding the amount of snowfall:
  • With snowfall amounts of two inches or more, all city sidewalks and interior streets, entryways and driveways are shoveled and/or plowed.
  • With snowfall amounts less than two inches, only city sidewalks, entryways and mailbox pads are addressed. The city requires our perimeter sidewalks to be cleared no matter the amount of snow.
• It should be noted that if there are any vehicles in the driveway, the contractor is not responsible for snow removal of that driveway. To do otherwise, would increase our cost significantly because of the number of vehicles in driveways throughout Woodbrook. Further, we cannot expect the contractor to come back if the vehicle is moved at a later date and time.
• It is important that owners/occupants do not use guest parking during a snow event as this action interferes with the process of snow removal and also creates icy areas.
• We have a high priority with our contractor and we can usually expect them to be here one to two hours after snow fall ceases.
• Our documents allow for snow storage on both limited and common elements. On rare occasions, we may need to remove or relocate snow piles.
